Project agreement between NDRMC and DPO

According to OCHA updated report on September 30, 2021” The humanitarian situation in Tigray remains dire, while the spillover of the conflict to neighboring Amhara and Afar regions is rapidly increasing the humanitarian needs and the number of internally displaced people (IDPs).

Development for Peace Organization (DPO) signed an agreement with the National Disaster Risk Management Commission (NDRMC) a project entitled “Distribution of life-saving Non –food items, Emergency Shelter and WaSH kits and CP/GBV services in most vulnerable conflict-affected population in Amhara and Afar Region”

We believe this project will address a lot of internal Displaced people (IDPs) and the host communities through delivering and offering ES, NFIs, WaSH, and Protection.

DPO will continue playing its part in reaching out the disadvantaged people and scaling up its humanitarian response in different parts of the country.
