Emergency Shelter kits Distribution

Within three days starting from September 02, 2021, up to 04/2021 DPO successfully distributed Emergency shelter kits to 1000 HH of IDPs in Tigray central zone Aferom, and Neader woreda. The Emergency Shelter kits were donated by RRF/USAID with material and financial support. We would like to thank our partner and donor RRF/USAID for their donation and support.

DPO distributed 500 ES kits in each Woreda respectively. 1786 male and 1594 female total 3380 individuals are benefited from the ES kits distribution, 30 elders and 7 people with disabilities were among our beneficiaries.

During the distribution, DPO  team raise awareness on PSEA, adequate orientation on how to construct the ES and strictly follow the covid-19 protocol .

As always our team in Mekelle and Axum also offers its support and assistance to people with disabilities, pregnant and lactating mothers, and others who are not capable to carry the items from the distribution site to outside
