The project that is being underway in those regional states is funded by SWAN (Save the Children, World Vision, Action against Hunger, and Norwegian Refugee Council).The support contributes to providing cash for rent for 1700 HH in Sekota, Debrebrehan, kuneba, and Shire/Shiraro woredas for six months and facilitating emergency communal shelter for 240 HHs in Sekota and Jara new IDP sites. The project targets 9,750 internally displaced people.DPO considers the establishment of a sense of ownership through the joint participation of the host community and IDP representatives in the implementation and monitoring of the response activities.
