Project launching

Development for Peace Organization /DPO/ Launched a project to repair emergency shelters for the Jarra IDP relocation site.

The project targets 1900 households implemented with IOM/RRF financial support and local authorities.

The decision to implement the project comes following an assessment conducted on the site.

Some IDPs spend without shelter, the existing shelters are below the standard and also narrow in size.

Under this project, DPO supposed to carry out activities, including the repair of emergency shelters based on the assessment conducted.

With this activity, DPO believes that it would provide protection and facilitate dignity to those IDPs.

Accordingly, Development for Peace Organization/DPO/ remains committed enough to ensuring timely and appropriate delivery of the project.
