Development for Peace Organization (DPO) signed partnership agreement with World Chamber for Social Business to work together in responding to the needs of conflict affected areas of countries in East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, and Yemen). The organizations detailed in their agreement that the central focus of their partnership will be on the field of humanitarian response and other sectors in line with UN promoted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Mr. Eshetu Mengistu (PhD) the Global Director General of DPO reiterated DPO’s continued effort and commitment for partnership with organizations such as World Chamber for Social Business working towards humanitarian wellbeing and creating safer environment. Ms. Ronita Ghosh on her part stated that her organization envisions using social entrepreneurship as a tool to undertake projects on the region
The agreement signing happened on the 2nd of November when representatives of the organizations met, Mr. Eshetu Mengistu (PhD) Global Director General of DPO and Ms. Ronita Ghosh Founder and President for World Chamber for Social Business. The World Chamber for Social Business is a non-profit organization established in India currently doing humanitarian and development work in Eastern Africa.
