DPO signed a project agreement with HELVETAS entitled “Provision of Lifesaving and Recovery Support to Conflict Affected Communities in Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia”. The project fund is obtained from SWISS SOLIDARITY through HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation.
The project targeted conflict affected food insecure communities in Samre and Tselemti woredas of Tigray region to be supported through life-saving and early recovery assistance of multi-purpose cash and the provision of agricultural seed.
In the project 3,100 Households will receive agricultural seed support to use for the coming agricultural season, while 650 identified most-vulnerable Households receive multi-purpose cash assistance (MPCA) in the two woredas identified.
